Ummachi’s Spicy and Tasty Chicken Curry

Its been so many days since I updated my blog since I am out on a tour.

This recipe looks like an usual Kerala style chicken curry, but it is the most tastiest curry which I have always loved. This is my Mom’s style of chicken curry, which is rich in gravy and one of the  most tastiest curries that my Mom makes. This is loved by all at my home.

This time when I was at home in Kerala, my Mom made this again and I quickly took some shots before it got over. I have tried it as mentioned in this recipe, but nothing can beat Mom’s food.
I call my Mom as Ummachi, and as this is how she makes chicken curry I have given the name of this curry as “Ummachi’s chicken curry” :-)

Just try it out, I am sure you all will like it.

Watermelon and Pomegranate Mocktail

Thinking of this hot weather in Kerala, I would like to have a  fresh cold juice. Luckily I had watermelon and pomegranate. First I thought of having only watermelon juice or else pomegranate then I thought why not blend both the fruits which are rich in nutrients and vitamins.

This is a perfect thirst quencher and it was a hit when served to guests. This fruity treat will be loved by kids. You can add few mint leaves to add extra flavor. Not only the colour, but the flavors are also tempting and refreshing. Just beat the heat with this amazing drink....

Ingredients:
  1. Watermelon- 2 Cups
  2. Pomegranate- 2 Cups
  3. Sugar (optional)- 3 tbsps
  4. Lemon- 1 tbsp
  5. Crushed Ice- a cup
Method:
Blend all the ingredients in a juicer and serve in a tall glass along with ice cubes and lemon.
