As the cherry season is going on and everyone whom I know is going for cherry picking these days. We went last weekend and bought a whole lot of cherries. We went with friends to pick these cute little sweet red cherries and it was fun. When we were in India I didn’t know that cherries were so sweet. We used to get the cherries that were covered in sugar syrup.
Now as the cherries which we plucked were sitting inside the refrigerator, I decided to bake something and so I googled and got a handful recipes, which I think you can see in near future posted on my blog. I usually like to eat cherries as it is, but now as Ramadan fasting is going on, I thought these cherries will get spoiled and so a fascinating dessert got ready within minutes.
Today’s post is about cherry and chocolate chip blondie. Blondies are a rich, sweet dessert bar, which differs a lot from brownie but it resembles a brownie. Unlike in brownies chocolate or chocolate flavorings are added, but in blondie white or dark chocolate chips are used. This is best served along with ice cream scoops. These blondies have their own unique deliciousness and personality. Chewy, rich and flavorful blondies are an indulgent dessert, which is hard to resist.
These blondies are so easy to make, just mix everything together and throw it in the oven. Within minutes delicious dessert is ready to eat. The combination of cherries along with chocolate goes so well, that you will end up eating more than one.Try this lovely combination and let me know.
